It is FRIDAY and it is Good Friday! I admit to being completely oblivious about standard weekend excitement. I live on Clay’s work schedule and tend to get excited about Monday. đŸ™‚

But since it is Friday, I have a few favorite products that are NEW TO ME that I wanted to share. Some of these products I have been hearing about forever and finally tried. Some were completely random purchases that ended up being awesome.
I definitely didn’t think I would need this, but by the end of the Winter my lips were starting to peel and if you’ve ever had this happen, you know it’s hard to come back from. This stuff got SO MUCH hype that I almost assumed it was too good to be true. But due to being a complete sucker, I finally pulled the trigger towards the end of the Winter. I’m here to tell you that it lives up to the hype. If you don’t believe me, look up the reviews! It has the most subtle berry scent and I look forward to putting it on every night. It is always STILL ON in the morning and my lips feel luxurious and moisturized. Tip: if your lips are extra dry, add a dab for day wear, too!
O’Keeffe’s for Healthy Foot Cream
I definitely do not get regular pedicures. I have always kept up with painting my toes on my own. But after the end of this Summer, I completely let go of my feet. My theory is that due to being a SAHM and rarely wearing shoes or socks (sometimes even outside) my feet just took a beating. My heels were cracked and even the sight of my feet was a little disturbing. I wanted to get a pedicure but I knew this was a deeper issue I needed to take care of. I have done one of those crazy foot peels before and YES, they are amazing, but not allowed during pregnancy. On a whim, I ordered this foot cream since it had decent reviews. I am so happy to announce that this cream is legit. It is not crazy expensive and it does what it’s supposed to do. After less than 5 uses I basically had my feet back to normal (soft and pink looking)! I put it on after showering or before bed and immediately put socks on. I prefer to do it right before bed but you could really use it anytime you are wearing socks.
I feel like my journey to finally purchasing this has been LONG. Like possibly 2+ years. I’ve known it is a SUPER popular and well loved product but I kept running into roadblocks every time I wanted to buy it. To back up, I started using a CC cream as opposed to a powder foundation a few years ago. My skin is different (aka fine lines and much more dry) than it used to be and I had to break up with my Bare Minerals powder. I still use it here and there but it definitely doesn’t make me as happy as it used to when I was super youthful (and oily…HA). So I have almost purchased this CC cream a few times but I couldn’t seem to find the right color. There are significantly less color options at Ulta than what you can find on IT Cosmetic’s website (which I linked!). If you are in the same boat, you can upload your photo and have them match for you. Also, do a little research and figure out your skin tone and undertones. With both of these things I was able to order a color I finally LOVE and therefore understand the hype about this product. It is moisturizing, it literally blurs imperfections, and is SO easy to put on. The smallest amount is all you need and this tube will likely last me a long time. PS – if you haven’t tried their Bye Bye Undereye concealer you are missing out. I’ve been using it for years and still can’t find a concealer I think is better!
Dubble Trubble Detangling Kid’s Spray
Ok, so this product isn’t for me. But I am so excited that I finally found something to use on Beck’s hair to tame it from dry bedhead to halfway decent. His hair is SO poofy and we are in a growing out phase so his look has been rough lately. I have tried ALL of my own products on him and they haven’t worked. I picked this up at Target (it was on sale for $2.99) and it does exactly what I need it to. I spray on and brush through his hair and it lays down really well. Plus it smells REALLY good! Note: don’t buy this on Amazon. I just checked and it’s way more expensive.
And those are my product wins! I tried a few drugstore mascaras that I was NOT impressed with but that is kind of boring to report on. Those are always hit or miss.
