It’s been so long since I’ve done a little round-up of my new favorite products. I had a line up of products that I was dying to buy and I did a huge Ulta haul after my birthday in April (gift card score!) and everything I bought ended up being my new favorite thing. Truth be told, I started this post IN MAY to talk about some of my favorite new Summer looks. But, here we are, and it’s October and that means it’s Fall! So some of these products I plan to carry over and I have some new ones that I bought for Fall that I am pretty pumped about as well. Each product is linked… however they are NOT affiliate links. Just for your convenience. Happy shopping!
1. Hoola quickie contour stick
This little stick is pretty to look at and SO easy to use. I think adding an easy contour is the best way to perk your face up and there is basically zero experience needed to do this. It blends incredibly easy. I like to use my beauty sponge but you could even use your fingers. The color is perfect.
My eyebrows are straight up out of control. I started having a professional do actual, regular maintenance on them but in the meantime, when I do a full face of make up, I really like to use this to get things in order. It isn’t a pencil or a powder, which I love. It’s a spooly with a liquid (think mascara but drier) formula on it. It takes 30 seconds to run it through your brows and they instantly look more full, filled in and perked up. It’s the best! Have an associate help you color match your brows to get the best look.
3. MAC Mineralize blush in “Gentle”
I have been using the same blushes through every season and I realized it was time to change it up for Fall. Per Lindsey’s beauty recs, I bought this blush which is a lovely plum shade and perfect for building color. Bonus: it looks great on fair and dark complexions. I fall into the extremely fair category ;).
4. GrandeLash Lash Enhancing Serum
I’ve been using this product for 5 ish months and have had incredible results (which actually happened within a month!) Highly recommend for those who don’t want to wear fake lashes and aren’t interested in extensions. It works!
5. Facial Spray
I loved this product in the Summer to feel fresh, but I’m loving it even more as the air gets chilly and my skin gets dry. I used to hate the idea of spraying something OVER my face when I already put makeup on but it truly just freshens and brightens.
6. Rose hip oil
Speaking of dry skin, I love putting this on at night or after exfoliating. It feels so good and is super reasonably priced.
This product isn’t new but I’m busting it back out for Fall. I wore it for my wedding (which was in November) and I still think it’s the perfect Fall/Winter shade.
And that’s it for current favorite products. What products are your must-haves for Fall and Winter?
